LuminUltra launched its new product – a test kit for water that offers near real-time response in the detection of total microorganisms – in 2003. Nearly a decade later, LuminUltra now sells and supports its products on every continent. The company’s primary focus is sales and support of a patented line of 2nd Generation Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) test kits, laboratory equipment and information management and data analysis software.
The company’s rapidly-growing list of customers is impressive and diverse. Through its global network of agents, distributors and partners, end users of LuminUltra’s products include like-minded small-to-medium sized entrepreneurial businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and municipal water operators for small towns up to the largest cities.
It’s been a long road for CEO Pat Whalen, who has been with the company since its inception.
